Our deepest sympathies and compassion are extended to you all in this time of grief. The strength and courage displayed by Belinda is an absolute inspiration. We didn’t know Belinda but even if we did we would hope that everyone remembers her for her laugh, her smile, her giggle, the way she is honest in front of the camera and the way she is just so comfortable in just being herself. Rove, McManus & Emmett families take strength, hope, and courage. Our hearts and thoughts are with all of you.

I did not know her nor did I know her husband. It still goes without saying that anyone to leave so young is so tragic.She was not an inspiration to me, but I can only imagine how it feels to have someone you love taken away from you.

My heart goes to her husband, her family and his respectively.I am saddened at the loss those close to her must now endure, my heart goes to all of you.

Belinda, you were a beautiful daughter and wife. Rest now, your work on this earth has been done x x x

I heard about Belinda's passing today and just burst into tears. Such a wonderful, smart, loving person taken too soon. I don't know Belinda or Rove but followed their loving relationship thru the media and cry for what for what a wonderful woman we have lost and thank god for the loving marriage she had with Rove who made her so happy.

There are no words to say that could ever ease the pain and suffering that you may be feeling, no words can replace the sadness, and sorrow in your hearts. No words can ever mend the loss you are feeling, Belinda is truly a remarkable person whom never showed her pain, she suffered silently, yet she smiled through out, she was a true angel sent here from above. May you rest now Belinda, knowing you have touched the lives of all around you. Rove, the love that the two of you shared will live on.. Be strong..

I am truly sorry for the pain her loss is causing you right now. I lost my Mother to Cancer in March last year, and one of her Sisters is currently in remission from Breast Cancer. It is such an insidious disease and it doesn’t discriminate. Know you have the support and sympathy of people that were touched by Belinda’s wonderful spirit and love of life. To Rove, I am truly sorry for the loss of your soulmate and best friend. I know she will continue to guide you from above.

All I can say is that I was shocked beyond belief over the death of Belinda. My heart goes out to Rove and the Emmett families. The government should realise now that even the young females of the world can get Breast Cancer and something should be done about it. The only way is to get all females (not just the over 40's) to be screened for this horrible disease. I myself have been told by Breastscreen that I am too young to have breast cancer and have been refused a mammogram. I am 35. RIP Belinda. Now all the angels have a Queen of Beauty with them.

I am deeply sorry to hear of your devastating loss today. The world is truly a better place because of people like Belinda who have touched it! Hers is such a beautiful spirit! And we were lucky to have an angel like Belinda walk amongst us! May God help you through this difficult time!

Words cant express how I am feeling at the news of Belinda’s Passing today, My heart goes out to you Rove and your families, your wife was not only a beautiful actress and wife but an inspiration to many of us who have been touched with such a dreadful disease, you are in my heart and my prayers and may god be with you.

All I can say is that I am shocked with disbelief . My heart goes out to Rove and the Emmett family. Australia has lost one of the most beautiful and strongest women. Maybe now the Government will believe that anyone of ANY AGE can get Breast Cancer. It is not just something that women over the age of 40 get. All females should be screened from the age of 16 or 17.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Belinda losing her long battle with Cancer. What a beautiful, courageous, inspiring young woman. I commend her for her bravery and for allowing the public to follow her fight. She has touched many Australians and probably saved many lives by making people aware of early diagnosis. The world is a sadder place without this vibrant young Aussie. I offer my deepest sympathy to Belinda’s family, I hope that your sadness will slowly give way to pride, and I hope your tears will slowly be replaced with the smile that a happy memory can bring. Rove, I can only imagine your pain- just know that you have many Australians there to support you, God Bless you all. My thoughts are with you all.

Like everyone else, I too would like to give my condolences to Belinda's husband and her family. Words at this point in time are futile, but knowing so many people are praying for you all must give you at the very least, some kind of comfort, for there's really nothing anyone could say or do to lift you from the sadness, loss and anger that you feel now. Instead, I'd like to offer some words of advice. Grieve, grieve and grieve some more. Then, when the worst of the grieving is gone, remember her as she was, and remember what a wonderful gift she was to the world.

I am saddened to hear that Belinda has passed away. The dignified, resilient and ever optimistic way with which she fought her battle had me thinking that she would somehow win over. It's such a terrible shame that it wasn't to be. Although I never knew her, she always seemed to me to be someone with so much light and life in her. Such "bright eyes". To use a line from that song from Watership Down, why does the light that burned so brightly have to suddenly close and fail? It is very hard to understand. My thoughts and prayers are with you Rove and families. I have long admired not only Belinda's irrepressible strength and determination but the way in public life Rove you protected her privacy and stood steadfastly behind Belinda. I hope you find comfort in the knowledge that beautiful Belinda will now be watching lovingly over you.

I will always remember first seeing Belinda Emmett when she appeared on the long running soap opera "Home & Away" when I was younger.

After that I saw her in a few other shows including All Time Greatest Bloopers, All Saints and the great Aussie film called "The Nugget" which also starred Eric Bana. To know that a great actress is now gone, it is totally tragic especially with other famous Aussies dying so young this year.

My heart goes out to her husband Rove, the Emmett family and her friends/co-stars.
