Dear Rove, family, and friends,

I can not imagine how you are feeling, but please know that my heart and thoughts go out to you all at this time in your life. May Belinda finally be pain free, she was such a happy person, and I always loved seeing pictures of Rove and Belinda as they always looked so in love, as they were. Rove, she will now be the guardian angel who looks over you from above. May you smile again soon, and know many people are thinking of you.

I lost my mum at a young age through cancer and to see Belinda’s strong spirit shine through all the time goes to show just how really strong she was and how much she loved her families and how much she loved her life with you rove. Belinda has an inspiration message for us all and that is to love and make what you can in your lives. I am shocked and sad to hear the terribly sad story of a beautiful fairytale that has come to an early end :( - Belinda was far too young to be taken away so soon. However, with someone as lovely as Rove by her side, I feel even in her fate, that she couldn't have been with anyone better or more loving than Rove. I think it is beautiful that she had someone like him to be with until the end. I wish too, that when my life comes to an end, I am there with the one person that I truly love...

Rove, you are still so young, it's heartbreaking for you and the families... I can't imagine what you are going through, only you truly know that. I wish you all the best in your life ahead, you must stay strong and brave for Belinda, for she is forever in your heart! Never let those wonderful memories of yours leave your heart... and she will live forever on...

I am devastated that you have lost the love of your life; Belinda was a truly beautiful person; her passing has made me realise just what is important in life. I, along with thousands of others cried when I heard the news of Belinda’s death. And I believe I only echo the sentiments of the Nation when I say that “Belinda was an inspiration to absolutely everyone but especially those suffering from cancer”. What a quietly courageous woman she was…My husband is also battling bone cancer, which has given me insight to the extremely difficult journey Belinda, you and her family has endured.

If there is only one thing to live for and achieve in this life, it would only be for love. And Belinda is loved even by those who have never said hello.

Success is measured by so many standards, but to me success is measured by the love that still exists long after a life time is over. And Belinda was a master in these standards.

I am not the kind of person who blindly supports and enjoys celebrity for celebrity sake. But I am the kind of person who feels love for humanity. Belinda to me was like a beautiful shining light. I always saw her beauty.

How can you keep smiling when there is so much private battle and pain underneath? She was the only example I could find of what it means to have finesse and grace and style. She was only meant to be here for her number of days. heaven must have been missing their angel and we were so lucky to have her.

I pray that one day when her loved ones day are over you will all be reunited again.

Dear Rove,

When I heard of your loss today I felt so sad. Your love for Belinda was a great inspiration for me and you instilled in me the hope of true love. You must be completely devastated. Although I don't know you or your families I feel like Australia has lost an angel. Belinda was so beautiful and dignified and it's a blessing that she got to spend her time with someone who truly, truly loved her.

We could not believe this horrid news when we read it on the net. What a beautiful and strong person Belinda was. We had this feeling she would beat this dreadful cancer, but not to be. So so sad, she is not suffering now, but what a future she would have had if she had stayed well. We feel so sorry for Rove and all the Family, how he will get on without the love of his life is beyond us. Try to be strong Rove that is what Belinda would have wanted.
