Belinda Emmett

While I’ve never known you or Belinda personally, I was so shocked to hear that Belinda was ill. I felt as though she was a part of our family during her time on various TV shows. I was so saddened to hear of Belinda’s passing yesterday, but at the same time I was so grateful for the time that she had, the joy that she gave and the love that you both shared. It gave me so much hope. I admire the strength, respect and pure goodness that you showed Belinda, particularly when so many others would have run a mile. Please know that like so many others our thoughts and prayers and understanding of how this must be affecting you are with you. Please Take Care.

My thoughts are with you. My young niece Amy lost her long 6 year battle with Breast/Secondary Bone Cancer in April this year. It was the saddest day of my life............and it is so heartbreaking to lose someone so young, Amy was just 28yrs old. Belinda has always been on my mind due to the similar circumstances with my niece. It’s the hardest thing to do is to watch someone fight as hard as she did just to stay here a little longer. My thoughts are with all of the families, Belinda was a beautiful lady and a fighter like my niece Amy.

Dear Rove, Mr and Mrs Emmett , family and friends,
I am sad to hear of the passing of your soul mate the beautiful and so courageous Belinda.
I have followed her battle with cancer and saw in her the growing beauty within as she embarked on healing herself, this challenge brought out her beauty even more, she left this world a deeply knowing and beautiful woman.

Some people sink into despair and stay there, some rise way above to a place within that is carried on, touches others lives as an inspiration and they themselves rise also. Belinda was one of these souls, what an honour to have been a part of her journey Rove, and what an honour for her have someone love her support her the way you did. This doesn't die, the love doesn't die it all gets transformed.

Having lost close ones myself, I now well the journey of grief and loss, it feels too un bearable to begin with to even breath, but it does change, it shifts and there is a gift at the end of the road which is knowing divine love and not wasting time on the trivial mundane materialistic.
She does live on , not in this world but in the other. Take care of yourself. Helane

I just wanted to drop you a note to express my sympathy for the passing of your beautiful Wife, Belinda. As like her I've also experienced the pain of breast cancer and drew strength from her courage and brave battle over the last 8 years. You and her carried on without all the media fanfare that some other celebrities have been able to turn to their financial advantage. I felt a bond with you both as you seemed to be normal people like myself living through the traumas of the dreaded "C" word. It seems strange and almost ridiculous for me to write this message. I didn't know Belinda. I can't imagine the sense of loss you must be feeling and won't try. I am simply writing this message to say that although I never met Belinda, from what I have come to know about her through the media and such I feel the world has lost a beautiful soul. When that happens, it requires some time to pause and think about our own lives, our own health and our own loved ones.
