Dear McManus and Emmett families,
I was very saddened to hear of Belinda's passing. I saw her many years ago on "Who Dares Wins" and thought "what a tough girl!". I think she bought that very same spirit to her cancer challenge. Her positive attitude, strength, courage and grace as well as her admitting that she had her share of "bad days" were and are inspiring. How lucky Belinda was to have a loving supportive family and wonderful husband. As a cancer survivor, I know how deeply important family and a loving, supporting and understanding spouse are. Unfortunately, my husband at the time all but abandoned me in my time of need. To Rove especially, you are indeed an inspiration and mirrored your wife in many ways. You were both so fortunate to have found that awe-inspiring love that eludes many of us. Much love and healing to you all.

I was so saddened to hear of Belinda’s passing. Although I do not know Belinda I could see that she was a beautiful person both inside and out. I have admired her strength and courage during her long battle and continued to include her as one of my most favourite celebrities. I am so pleased she found love and happiness with you Rove, I’m sure that the time she spent with you meant more than words can say. I read an interview in a magazine with Belinda and she said something that I intend to remember always – that growing old is a privilege, a gift and something to look forward to. So every time I look in the mirror each year I will search for those wrinkles and think of Belinda and how lucky I am to be growing older. May you all find the same strength and courage Belinda had during this time of great sadness – she will be greatly missed.
