My sincere condolences to Rove and the Emmett family. As a breast cancer patient myself and the recent passing of my 39 year old cousin I can relate to the pain you must be going through. Belinda was one of Australia’s sweethearts and admired for her strength by many.

Deepest sympathy for both family's, Belinda was a very strong lady who loved and lived life to the fullest. It saddens me greatly Belinda was an inspiration to all of us I hope she is out of pain now and up the heavens above with our other 2 fellow great Aussies Irwin & Brocky, Myself and my family strongly support the cancer foundation. My husband has had cancer twice the first in 2002, After the removal of the cancer and weeks of Radiotherapy, after the first cancer we came to learn he had developed another cancer he is in remission now it saddens me and some what frightens me because my Husband is 1 yr younger than Belinda, Belinda's strength will live on in others, she will be the guidance when others are in need she will be our bright and shinning star...

Our deepest condolence goes out to each and every one of you. We did not know Belinda personally but somehow we felt we did. Belinda could light up a room as soon as she stepped through the door. Dear Rove, I don’t know if you will ever read these messages because I imagine that it would be too hard to do so. I remember Belinda from the first time I saw here on TV in Home and Away and always thought how beautiful and talented she was. I missed her when she left and was stoked to see her back on All Saints a few years later. I always followed her career and loved everything she ever did. I was so sad when I first heard she had breast cancer and then devastated when it came back as bone cancer. My aunty had the same diagnosis and died a few years ago. My mum sent me a text on Saturday morning to let me know that she had passed away and I just stopped in my tracks. I couldn’t function for ages.

Rove, as you well and truly know, she was so amazing and beautiful and we know you are going to miss her every minute of every day. Please take the time you need to get through this and know that the people of Australia are 110% behind you. We love you Rove.

I had the absolute privilege of meeting both Rove and Belinda at this year’s Logies Awards. She seemed to be so positive and strong. She truly was an inspiration to us women. She has now made us more aware than ever to get checked out! I will always remember her as the beautiful blonde woman who entered our lives on Home and Away! She was so stunning!
