My deepest sympathy to Rove and the Emmett and McManus family. Belinda was a one in a million. I watched her on home and away then on all saints she is a great actress and a truly lovely person so brave with her illness and so in love with you Rove and you with her. You had a fairytale marriage god bless you and families that only some people dream of. I will remember her forever and miss her but keep all your lovely memories of her as you will and may you allow her fans send their deepest sympathy to you once more. As I heard of her passing I instantly thought of a song called wings of a snow white dove and that to me was Belinda. Once again so sorry I can not know how you feel at this sad time but the whole nation is thinking of you. Deepest sympathy to all.

Dear Rove and family,

We are so sad and our hearts ache for the loss of Belinda. It is unbearable to think of your pain at this time. She was such a beautiful and gentle human being.

I know, that like us, all of Australia cradled her in our hearts and held our breath as she went through her long battle. We are so glad that you both were able to find each other. Though her life was short, Belinda had found her absolute soulmate and it was beautiful to witness your dedication to each other. Thank you, Rove and Belinda for letting us into your lives, we cried tears of worry with each diagnosis and tears of joy at seeing the photos of your wedding.

We are here now to let you know that we will always support you and never let Belinda’s memory die or forget the love story that was and forever will be - Rove McManus and Belinda Emmett.

Belinda was an inspiration to me in my own battle with cancer. Although I did not ever meet her, through the media she showed such strength and courage, for someone my own age, that she helped me believe that there was a way through the disease. Her passing is so unfair and too soon but I am sure she helped many young women with cancer to believe. My thoughts are with Rove and Belinda’s entire family.
