Date: Sunday, 10th May, 2008 (Mother’s Day) Details: The Great Southern Garden of Remembrance, extends an invitation to the community to attend our Annual Mother’s Day Service on Sunday the 10th May 2009 at 9.00am where the theme will be “A Mother’s Heart is a Patchwork of Love ” which symbolises the wonderful memories woven in gold into our lives to love cherish and to never forget. This event is intended to bring families together to honour all mothers, grandmothers and honorary mums who have nurtured and raised families. It doesn’t matter whether there is a connection to Great Southern Gardens or not. If you want to remember your loved one in this special way then you will certainly be made welcome. For some families this may be a difficult time as they remember and reflect on the precious memories they have of their mothers. We also welcome mothers who have suffered the loss of a child. At the conclusion of our service we invite all families to stay on for light refreshment. We would like you and your family to share this special day with us.
Stapylton Details: Mother’s Day is traditionally a day where we celebrate a Mother’s love for her family, her guidance, strength and humour. For those who no longer have their special lady with them, this day can be a difficult time. We offer this special service as a way that families can honour their wife, mother, or family member, and share with others their feelings on this day. The service is non denominational, and will provide an opportunity for you to commemorate that special role that mothers play in our lives. After the service, refreshments will be provided, so you are welcome to stay and share a cuppa and a chat.
