Josie SULLIVAN
Josephine Monica Sullivan – always known as “Josie” to her friends and family was a fiercely independent woman.

Josie was born on 3 April 1920 just before the depression years and grew up as an adult in World War 2 Australia, passing through the family challenges of the depression years.

Her husband was John Bede Sullivan whom she married in 1947 just after World War 2. Josie had five children.

Josie was the proud grandmother of Jaclyn and Wayne and mother in law to Russell and her daughter Veronica to whom she maintained contact regularly.

Josie spent her latter years at the Fairfield Nursing Home and is remembered for her love for her family and for her fierce independence.

Josie passed away on Friday 10 August, 2007 and is remembered by family and friends.
