ANTHONY passed away peacefully at Hammondville Nursing Home at the age of 70yrs.
ANTHONY LUDGARDA-CARMEL AZZOPARDI was born on the 19th February 1937 in Qormi, Malta to Vincent and Georgina (nee Formosa). In 1954 at the tender age of 16 he made the long journey to his new home in Sydney with his family.
Over the years ANTHONY grew to enjoy a visit to his beloved races at Warwick Farm and Randwick race tracks along with a visit to his "Local" around the corner!
In recent years, ANTHONY had a close affinity to both St Vincents Hospital and The Brown Nuns at Darlinghurst where he will be sadly missed.
A much loved brother, to George, Richard, Peter, Mary, Joe, Laurie and Rita, he will be sorely missed by his many nieces, nephews and all his family and friends.
