Some Angels live forever
They grow wings and learn to fly
Some Angels leave too early
It’s hard to say goodbye
Some children grow into adults
And fill their parents with pride
They search the earth for purpose
They wander far and wide
Some children don’t get the chance
To wander far from home
These children are Angels from heaven
God’s gifts to us, Angels on loan
We are all sorry we lost our Angel
Just when it seems her life was about to start
But she will always be our Angel
She will never leave our hearts.
