A Better Place
She’s in a better place right now
Than she’s ever been before;
All pain is gone; she’s now at rest;
Nothing troubles her anymore.
It’s we who feel the burden of
Our sadness and our grief;.
We have to cry, to mourn our loss,
Before we get relief.
We know we’ll reconnect with her
At the end of each life’s road;
We’ll see her cherished face again
When we release our earthly load.
Our love to all the family

Immense is the sadness that we feel now. For 18 years we shared many highs and lows, but one thing remained strong - an amazing friendship that transcended the distance between us. Cherie - false friends are like autumn leaves found everywhere, but true friends are like diamonds precious and rare. Cherie, my friend, you were certainly a diamond in my life. I will always love you. My children also thought so highly of you. Thanks for being such an important part of our lives over the years.
Love from Trudes, Shane, Darren and Alena

You loved your friends and family, and most importantly you loved Ayla and your beautiful granddaughter Jayda. You never realised how precious you were to all of us. I will miss our girls talks, the funny e-mails and the nights out. Rest peacefully in Heaven and know that you have left your glow in all of us.

Thinking of the Family and Ayla, Jayda. We had so many great times together, we travelled to Tamworth and had a lot of fun and chardys ha ha. We were going back in January because that's what made Cherie happy to travel and stop at a hotel or two. No matter where you were if you needed help she would be there, she had a heart of GOLD. Think I will remember that Cherie is now at peace with her father and Jye. Always in my heart Tiffany & Lisa xxx

Cherie and I just recently reconnected after being out of touch for a couple of years, and I saw her when she visited the US in March. It was such a delight to partake of her enthusiasm and hear her voice again. She took such glowing pride in talking about and showing the pictures of Ayla and Jayda and all the rest of her family. I will miss her greatly -- her kind, gentle, trusting soul was rare and wonderful. Daniel

Cherie and I had a very special friendship that began in the Defence Department 10 years ago, when she asked me for help and advice setting up her home PC. Over time we shared many family experiences and photos over a drink or two at the Clocks Tabaret at Flinders Street. We also watched each others children grow into young adults and experience life’s woes. I will sadly miss our lunchtime conversations and our hugs and kisses when we parted. Cherie had a unique glowing personality, such that I have never seen in another living person. We often joked with other that we would still be catching up for a drink and a chat in our old age. Alas this is not to be so. With a heavy heart I say goodbye Cherie and will try to remember the good times as you are now at peace and all of your troubles are now behind you. Love always Michael xxxxxx

I always prayed that you would see the light, shining at the end of the tunnel.
Just like an Angel you've found the light, shining up above in Heaven.
Rest now sweet friend and be at peace, you are now free to be where ever.

Always Now and Forever.

No words to heal your pain

Cherie and I met 10 years ago as internet buddies and had remained so and in contact the entire time. It was this last trip to America I was finally able to meet her and as I always thought she was a beautiful person inside and out. She talked of her family and was so proud of her photo, we looked at them for hours. My deepest sympathies to her family for their loss and Cherie, you will always be in my heart and memories. I will say a prayer for you and your family at eleven o'clock tonight on the east coast of America! Love Your Southern Yank From America Tony!!!!!!!!!

My Little Sis,
Words can not express the deep sorrow that I feel in my heart with your departure from our lives. Without telling you consistently, you meant the world to me. I will never understand exactly why you and dad decided to end your lives in this way. You both have left me for now. Our family up here in Newcastle will always remember the love, generosity and care that you always showed on your many visits to the area. You are at peace now and with the ones that you loved so dearly, Dad, Robbie, Benjamin, Nan, Pop and of course you best buddy Jye. May you rest in peace and look over all of us.
I will always keep my promise to you in looking after Ayla and Jayda. Your memory will not fade away with time.
Take care Sis.
With All of our Love
Brad, Angie, Nicholas and Emily.
PS: Nicholas loved the toys you brought back from the USA.
