Doug was my college roommate for a couple of years. He was in my first wedding. With time and distance, we lost touch over the years, making contact for one fleeting moment.
My thoughts are with his wife, children. I still remember our college trips back to Evansville to see brother Dan and his parents.
I still remember listening to him and the r-a try to play guitar and sing on the ninth floor of our dorm.
Despite losing contact, Doug's spirit was always with me.
