Obituary
Joan passed away peacefully at Woy Woy Aged Care on Thursday April 8, 2010 at the age of 92 years.
Elsie Joan Stapleton, Joan to all, was born on July 4, 1917 in Paddington to Augustus and Alice (nee Hudson) Stapleton. At the age of 20, Joan married her beloved husband Arthur Carrier in North Sydney. They were blessed with three children.
A devoted wife to Arthur (deceased), Joan was a loving mother to Valerie, Suzanne and James. She was a proud grandmother to Melanie, Shelley, Natalie, Kim and Glenn and great grandmother to ..... Joan will be very sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
God looked around His garden
and found a special place.
He then looked down upon you
and saw your weary face.
He put His arms around you
and called you home to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful
because he only takes the best....!
