Predeceased by her beloved husband, George, in 2004 and son, John, in 2002. Survived by her loving daughter, Amanda, and her much loved grandchildren: Ben (Anja), Alexis, Bill (Katrina), Ron, and Shelley (Tim). She was so proud of her great-grandchildren: Jack, Kira, Danika, Finn, Riley, Merryn and Rowan.
Many thanks go to Dick and Dilys Meenahan and Phil and Kathy Ward for their loving care of Effie. Thanks also to the staff of Woodfield Nursing Home and Hostel who looked after Effie for the past 5 years. Thanks as well to the doctors, nurses and staff on Ward 1 North and the Palliative Care Team at Concord Hospital for their compassionate care during her final days.
A family celebration of Effie's life will be held to remember her.
