Obituary
Evelyn passed away peacefully at Nareen Gardens Nursing Home, Bateau Bay on Saturday October 3, 2009 at the age of 95 years.
Evelyn Emily Alice Vickery was born on February 24, 1914 at Hurlestone Park NSW to Kenneth and Isabel (nee Aili) Vickery. At the age of 22 years, Evelyn married her sweetheart Ray Chamberlain at Ryde. They were blessed with two children.
A beloved wife to Ray, who sadly died a POW, Evelyn was a loving mother to Jim and Helen and dear mother in law to Jan and Keith. A very proud grandmother to Gary, Debra, Raymond, Richard, Peter, Andrew, Graham and Timothy, Evelyn will also be sadly missed by her brother Clive and by Anne, Helen and John to whom she was a special half sister.
An Angel came by,
saw a beautiful flower to pick
and gave it to God.......
