Fred's Funeral Service will be officiated by Fr Max Sainsbury.

Fred passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Saturday June 13, 2009 at Brisbane Water Hospital. He was 87 years of age. Although late of Blackwall, Fred spent many years at Erskinville and Botany.

Frederick Arthur Willis was born on September 6, 1921 in Botany to George and Ethel (nee Cross) Willis. NX308195 Willis proudly served his country during WWII as a Private in the 6th Division Field Regiment. Then at the age of 25 years he married his sweetheart Alice Renshall in Botany. They were blessed with five children.

Fred was a beloved husband to Alice and a much loved father and father in law to Sandra and Phillip, Beverly and Bob, Christine and Bob, Allan and Sharon, Aileen and Bob. He was a very proud grandfather to his 13 grandchildren and great grandfather to his 21.5 great grandchildren. Fred was a dear brother and will be very sadly missed by all his loving family and many friends.
