Obituary
TRUUS passed away peacefully at Liverpool Hospital on Sunday September 14, 2008 in her 80th year. She was late of Sadleir.
Geertruida Hendrika Bakker was born in Amsterdam, The Netherlands on December 5, 1928 to Hermanus and Stijntje (nee Van Schagen) Bakker. At the age of 24 years TRUUS married her sweetheart Albert Vanderzyden in Amsterdam. Then in 1952 TRUUS and Albert made the long journey to their new life in Australia where they raised their daughters.
TRUUS was a devoted wife to Albert, much loved mother to Wilhelmina, Jean and Kathleen and dear Oma to their families. She will be sadly missed by all her loving family here in Australia and in Holland.
