GEOFF'S Funeral Service will be taken by Rev Pam Fraser.
An RSL service will be conducted by Bill Potten from Tuggerah Lakes Memorial Club.

A PROUD SERVICEMAN AND FAMILY MAN...
GEOFF passed away peacefully at Wyong Hospital on Thursday 24th August 2006 at the age of 83yrs. He was late of Long Jetty.
GEOFF was born on 22th April 1923 in Gloucester NSW to Frederick and Elsie (nee Smith). At the age of 33 he married his beloved Joyce in Sydney. They had two children Phillip and Warrick.
NX43222 GEOFFREY JAMES SMITH 3rd Battalion, went on to proudly serve his country in both WW2, in Japan and PNG for 6 years and then in Korea for 2 years.
A devoted husband to Joyce, GEOFF was a much loved Dad and best mate to his son's and their wives Julie and Joanne. He was a respected and very special poppy to his grandchildren Shayne, Mahalia, Jye and Luke who affectionately called him "poppa chainsaw". A dear brother to Bruce, GEOFF will be very sadly missed by all who knew him.
