Hazel's Funeral Service will be officiated by Celebrant Ken Livingstone.

Hazel passed away peacefully at her home at Peninsula Village, Umina Beach on Tuesday January 12, 2010 at the age of 82 years. Although late of Umina Beach, Hazel lived for many years at Blacktown.

Hazel Joyce Hicks was born in Ryde on February 1, 1927 to Harrie and Doris (nee Symonds) Hicks. At the age of 19, Hazel married her husband Vivian Holden in Ryde. They were blessed with two sons.

Hazel was a much loved mother and mother in law to Graeme and Cheryl, Dennis and Robyn. She was a very special Nan to Sam, Nicole, Sarah, Tracey and Daniel and great grandmother to Stewart, Kian, Jacob, Katie, Olivia and Luke. Hazel will be sadly missed by her brothers Stan and Phil and by all her loving family and friends.
