The Funeral Cortege for the late Mrs Hilda Fitzgerald of Lathlain will arrive at Pinnaroo Valley Memorial Park, Whitfords Avenue, Padbury at 2.00pm, Thursday (10.08.2006) for burial in the Lawn Area.

Our thoughts & Love are with you all at this sad time. Hilda touched many lives including ours. She was our neighbour for 16yrs and good friend. It was a gift to be welcomed so warmly into your family get togethers & experience the love and connectedness you all shared.
We will always remember your mum for her strength, determination & Independence. Her openheartedness to folk from all walks of life and fun sense of humour, not to mention those die hard genes that will live on for ever.

"Even after Hilda's initial diagnosis I recall looking out on a number of occasions while opening the curtains of a morning time. Hilda would be there doing some gardening, leaning up against her front wall. She would say to me later this is what she enjoyed and would be happy to go, doing what she loved. I think there is a lesson for us all to be learned from Hilda and that is to "Live life to the fullest doing what you love."
