JACK passed away at The Royal North Shore Hospital on Wednesday 26th July 2006 at the age of 86 years. He was late of Shelly Beach.

JACK, christened John Francis, was born in Newtown on the 17th November 1919 to Robert and Bridget Gamble. At the age of 26 he married his first wife Dorothy at Earlwood. Unfortunately Dorothy passed away, but at the age of 64, JACK went on to marry his beloved Joyce at The Entrance.

Although he had no children, JACK became a much respected stepfather to Maria, Michael and Andrea, Mark and Wendy. He was a special grandad to Matthew, Christopher, Adam, Blake, Madeline, and Karly. He will be so sadly missed by his brother Charles (deceased) and sister in law Merle, by his only nephew Glen and his wife Jennette and their children Jordon, Jarred and Tiarna.

A much respected gentleman, JACK was a past President of the Bateau Bay Bowling Club and proud Life Member. He will be very sadly missed by all who knew him.
