Nikola Mijic
Husband, Father, and Grandfather To Be Proud Of.
Nikola Mijic was born one of six brothers in Zvornik, Bosnia.
After the war he studied to be a Chemical Technician and married his wife of 53 years, Krsmanija, in 1953. They had 3 children, sons Slobodan and Dragan and Daughter Slobodanka.
Searching for a better life for his family Nikola came to Australia in 1971 where he immediately started work in a wax and parafin factory as a skilled operator.
He remained with the same employer until his retirement in 1993. He was a great man, with many friends, strong family ties and deep devotion to his Serbian Orthodox Faith.
He was respected by his Friends and adored by his Children, their Spouses and his seven Grandchildren.
