The service celebrating the life of Peter Hyde will be held in the John Allison/Monkhouse Chapel, Cnr. Stud Road and Burwood Highway Wantirna on Thursday May 17 commencing at 2.30 pm

A Private Cremation will follow

In lieu of flowers, donations to Diabetes Australia would be appreciated. Envelopes will be available at the chapel.

Living next door to Peter meant we started school together
which didn't please Peter too much, so he went straight back home again.
Still we survived school and into teens.
It was the sixties and Peter showed us all, that is Colin, Alan and myself
what a fearless rider he was on his Li 150 scooter.
Peter was always quick with the one liners , his favourate when
asked where he was going was, I'm off to Sainsburys'.
Will miss you Peter, so sorry I couldn't meet up with you before
you left us. Now remember , try and stick to the speed limit, wherever you are.
