Obituary
Phill passed away peacefully on Saturday November 21, 2009 at the age of 92 years. He was late of Umina Beach although formerly of Kingsgrove.
Phillip Joseph Lipman was born on December 8, 1916 in Redfern to Raymond and Margaret (nee Mathews) Lipman. At the age of 27, Phill married his sweetheart Beatrice Lovett at Enfield. They were blessed with two children.
NX12144 Sapper Lipman proudly served his country during WW11, enlisting on April 13, 1940 at Paddington where he was a member of the 2/2 Aus Rlwy Const Coy. He was discharged on October 12, 1945.
A much loved husband to Beatrice (deceased), Phill was a loving father and father in law to Ron, Margaret and John. He was a very special Pa to Adam and Tina, Luke and Renee, Dean and Cathy and a proud great grand Pa to Jesse, Josh, Nathan, Bree, Corey, Sophie and Amber. Phill will be very sadly missed by all his loving family and friends.
