Obituary
Selma passed away peacefully at Brisbane Waters Private Hospital on Tuesday January 12, 2010 at the age of 89 years. Although late of Peninsula Village Umina Beach, she spent many years at Arncliffe.
Selma Elsie Barr was born on July 20, 1920 in Paddington to Sydney and Adeline (nee Baker) Barr. Selma will be very sadly missed by her sisters, nieces, nephews and all her friends at Peninsula Village.
You can shed tears she has gone
or you can smile because she has lived.
You can close your eyes and pray that she'll come back,
or you can open your eyes and see all she has left.
Your heart can be empty because you can't see her
or you can be full of the love you shared.
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday,
or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.
You can remember her and only that she has gone,
or you can cherish her memory and let it live on.
