Passed away peacefully at Numurkah Hospital.
Loved husband of Doreen. Loving father and father-in-law of Penny and Alan, Deborah and Paul, Janene and Brian. Treasured, fun loving Grumps of Matthew and Kathryn, Jane and Jacquie and Emma and Jessee.
Thanks for all the wonderful memories. The stories will live on!

Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of earth
and danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
Sunward I have climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth
Of sun-spilt clouds - and done a hundred things
You have no dreamed of - wheeled and soared and swung
High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there
I've chased the shouting wind along, and flung
My eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the lond delirious, burning blue,
I've topped the windswept heights with easy grace
Where never lark or even eagle flew-
And whil with the silent lifting mind I've trod
The high untrespassed sanctuary of space
Put out my hand and touched the face of God.
