A DEAR FRIEND TO ALL!!
SYD passed away at Wyong Hospital on Thursday 27th July 2006 with his family at his side. He was 88 years of age. Late of The Entrance, formerly of Revesby and Sheffield England.
SYD was born on 11th March1918 in Sheffield England to Arthur and Rhoda (nee Goddard) Robinson. At the age of 25 he married his beloved wife Alice and in 1956 they made the big journey out to Australia. They had 3 daughters, Jennifer, Jean and Gayle.
A mad keen football supporter, SYD still followed his favourite team Sheffield Wednesday and he also watched, with great enthusiasm, the recent World Cup, getting up at all hours to see the matches!!
SYD was a loving husband to his beloved wife Alice, who passed away in December 2005. He was a dear father to Jennifer and Barry, Jean and Tony, Gayle and Tom and a very special Pop and grandad to his 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
LOVED AND ADORED.
