VIOLET'S Funeral Service will be conducted by Pastor David Robson.

VIOLET passed away peacefully at the age of 79 years at Liverpool Hospital on Tuesday 30th October 2007 with her family at her side. She was late of Miller.
VIOLET was born on the 30th May 1928 in Edinburgh, Scotland. At the age of 35, VIOLET married John Finlay in Edinburgh. In 1958, VIOLET made the long trip, with her husband and four of her children, to make a new life in Australia, where they then celebrated the birth of their fifth child. At the age of 57 years VI met and married Robert Umstad in Liverpool.
A very much loved wife and dear mother to John, Kathleen, Andrew, Jeanette and Heather, VIOLET was also a proud grand mother to Michelle, Sheriee, Glenn, Jo-Ann, Shane, Brendan, Heath and Brett and a great grandmother to Caine, Caitlin, Emilly, Danny, Luke, Cory, Angus, Brandon, Caine, Chloe and Breanna. She will be very sadly missed by her sister Agnes, brothers Blair and Jack (deceased) in Scotland and by all her family and friends here in Australia and Scotland.
You never failed to do your best,
your heart was true and tender,
you simply lived for those you loved,
and those you loved, REMEMBER......

Mum, it was your 80th birthday on Friday 30th May 2008. It's been 7mths since you left us it been really hard for all of us. I visit every week and place flowers for you and Bern. John took you back to your homeland to put you a rest with your mum, so now you can finally rest in peace. Love Heather xxx
